Fashion show raises $13,200 for scholarships

The University Women of Flagler sold out its Fashionable Transitions fashion show and luncheon Saturday, Nov. 10, at Hammock Beach Resort, with 255 tickets sold raising an estimated $13,200.

Funds raised from the show, which acts as the major annual fundraiser for the group, will go towards scholarships for graduating females in Flagler County who have been accepted to an accredited university.

The University Women of Flagler, which was established in 2006, aims to promote equality, education, intellectual growth, individual worth and the development of opportunities for women and girls in Flagler County.
