The stage at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic School was peppered with children dressed as food, animals and Native Americans Tuesday, Nov. 20.

The kindergartners through third-grade students were presenting their Thanksgiving plays.

The themes of the plays included working together, demonstrated by a story about mashed potatoes, turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie, all working together to make a tasty meal. The first-graders acted out a play about treating others the way you want to be treated. And finally, the third-grade students explored the various Native American tribes.

Also, as part of the spirit of giving, the school collected 1,454 cans during its food drive, which started Nov. 1.
