Flagler County Sheriff’s deputies reported a 38-year-old Palm Coast man was slightly injured Wednesday morning during a home invasion on Slowdrift Turn in Palm Coast.
The man and his wife, also 38 years old, told deputies that as the two were sitting at the kitchen table around 7:45 a.m., three men, all wearing black ski masks and gloves, forcibly entered their home carrying handguns.
The woman was forced to lie face down on the floor by one suspect while another pointed a gun at the man. The suspect grabbed the man from behind, placed him in a choke hold and struck him twice in the head, possibly with the butt of the hand gun. The man then was forced to lay face down on the floor.
A third suspect went upstairs and then shortly came back down, telling his accomplices that they needed to leave.
The victim said the robbers took an undetermined amount of cash and jewelry. Holiday gifts displayed in the home and valuable electronic items were not taken, according to the victim.
The man refused medical attention for his injuries.
Anyone with information on the incident is asked to contact the Flagler County Sheriff’s
