The melodic tunes of violin and fiddle slid through the Spanish moss-draped trees Saturday, Oct. 6, at the eighth-annual Creekside Festival, presented by the Flagler County Chamber of Commerce & Affiliates.

The festival played host to 12,000 people, seven bands and 98 vendor booths ranging from crafts to political parties.

A big draw was the student photography contest, located inside the lodge. Winners of the contest were as follows: Grand prize, Stefany Farsiyants; first place, Melanie Smith; second place, Darlene Pruorn; third place, Daniel Sarmiento; and honorable mentions, Pruorn, Summer Bradshaw and Samantha Ingerson.
