The Flagler Integrative Veterinary Center and the S.A.F.F.A.R.I. Animal Rescue will hold a free spay and neuter day for feral cats Tuesday, Oct. 16.
This is not a low coast spay and neuter program for owned cats, this program is strictly for trapping and releasing feral cats. Cats and kittens will be tested for FIV/FELV. Provided they do not test positive, the will be spayed/ neutered, receive a rabies vaccine and their ear will be tipped to show they have been fixed.
Kittens must be at least 3-months-old and weigh a minimum of three pounds. All cats must be in traps or containers.
Bring cats to Flagler Integrative Veterinary Center, 208 N. Second St., Flagler Beach between 8:30-9:30 a.m. Animals should be picked up between 4-5 p.m.
