The following is a report of Ormond Beach budget amendments, energy usage, police activity and more.

Ormond Beach city officials amended its 2011-2012 fiscal budget, to account for new grants, purchase orders and construction projects. A sampling of those changes are listed as follows:
The following numbers were supplied from the city of Ormond Beach, recorded between Monday, Oct. 8, and Thursday, Oct. 18.
135 -- Miles of road swept by city sweepers (removing 32 cubic yards of debris)
13,340 -- Gallons of unleaded gas used by city fleet vehicles to drive 2,594 miles, Oct.12-18 (795 gallons of diesel were also used)
35.759 million -- Gallons of water delivered, Oct. 8-14, by the city's treatment facility (residents average 5.108 daily gallons)
51 -- Traffic citations issued Oct.11-17 by the Ormond Beach Police Department (Patrol cars responded to 1,693 total calls)
102 -- Crime-opportunity reporting forms issued by city police, Oct. 11-17
