+Flagler Beach resident publishes children’s book
Maxine Kronick, a volunteer in the Buddy Taylor Middle School theater department, wrote and published “A Grandmother’s Wish” in collaboration with animator David Lawter.

Illustrated by young artists from schools and art gallery workshops in the Central Florida area, the book comes to life in the accompanying DVD. Geared toward children ages 3 and older, the book educates children about the many threats to our environment and encourages dialogue, while the animation entertains.

It is available at Chez Jacqueline, in Palm Coast, and Down by the Sea, in Flagler Beach.

A portion of proceeds from the book will fund art programs for underprivileged children, schools and art galleries.
