Flagler Habitat for Humanity will host October Scare: The Haunted Wooded Walk 8-11 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, and Sunday, Oct. 28, located under the State Road 100 bridge in Flagler Beach at the Betty Steflik Preserve, Flagship Harbor Pavilion.

The nonprofit has been scaring victims — err, attendees — for the past 11 years each October to benefit the organization. Cost is a $6 donation per person. All ages welcome, although a minimum age of 7 is recommended.

Other weekend events are ...

Trunk or Treat — 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, at Christ Lutheran Church, 2323 N. U.S. 1, Bunnell. Trick or treating in the parking lot; costume parade with prizes, great food, games and door prizes. Call 437 4113.

A Spooktacular Event — 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, at the Flagler County Public Library, 2500 Palm Coast Parkway N.W. Costumes optional.

Pilates in the Park — 8:30 a.m. at Sunday, Oct. 28, Veterans Park, Flagler Beach. Hosted by Florida Hospital Flagler, socialsmidge, Palm Coast Observer and Hot Yoga Lounge. This year, the event has expanded to include both a Pilates and a yoga session. Attendees can attend both sessions for $15. All funds raised will benefit Florida Hospital Flagler Foundation’s Breast Care Fund. Register online at www.PilatesInTheParkFlagler.com. Call 586-4565.

Trunk or Treat — 4-6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 28, at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 5400 Belle Terre Parkway. There will be a costume contest at 5:30, as well as face painting, pumpkin painting, games, apple bobbing and a bake goods sale. Proceeds benefit youth missions.
