The Bunnell Senior FFA at Flagler Palm Coast High School recently traveled to Astor for its annual officer retreat.

The seven officers were challenged with problem solving scenarios, teamwork games and leadership activities throughout the weekend. They were responsible for budgeting money and cooking for one another during these four days. The students bonded and learned how to work together, according to the organizers.

They also set individual and team goals for the year ahead. The group planned its first chapter meeting to be held Sept. 5 and its Kickoff Cookout scheduled for 4 p.m. Sept. 12, at Herschel King Park. They also brainstormed fundraisers and community service events for the 2012-2013 school year.

The officers are President Katie Young, Vice President Austin Davis, Secretary Hannah Welch, Treasurer Kerry Norberg, Reporter Jessica DiMaria, Sentinel Tara Norberg and Historian Madison Worley.
