Family Promise of Flagler County’s Helicopter Golf Ball Drop, which was previously scheduled for Aug. 19, will now be 5-6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 16, at the Hammock Beach Resort Ocean Course.

The first event was rained out.

Golf balls will be dropped from a helicopter, and the ball landing in or closest to the hole wins $10,000. Tickets (balls) may be purchased at the event or at familypromiseflagler.org.

Tickets are also available at the Family Promise Day Center, 1500 S. Daytona Ave., Flagler Beach.

Cash bar and refreshments, including popcorn and snow cones, will be available. The event is free and open to the public. The winner need not be present.

The winning number will be published on the website the evening of the drop.

All proceeds benefit homeless children and their families, in Flagler County. For more information call Executive Director Darla Otey, at 693-4393.
