Temple Beth Shalom hosts nostalgic variety show

As the audience clapped with the melody of “Hava Nagila,” Joan Grube and Lina Mays led the cast of the variety show down the aisle at Temple Beth Shalom, encouraging those sitting on the ends to join in the celebration.

This final act capped off an afternoon of laughter and nostalgic performances Sunday, Sept. 9, at the temple.

Cast members included Marina Lapina, Edna Alex, Henry Orlowski, Bonnie Siamon, Bette Cabot, Gladys Weiss, Shelly King, Jeanne Siegel, Alex Galynkin, Muriel Hoffman, Claire Soria, Roy Schaffer, Elizabeth Fortun, Daniella Fortun, Zoriy Zinger, Aaron Weiss, Grube and Mays.
