Eleven years later, 9/11 remembered

Johnny Vidota stood at the end of the Flagler Beach Pier, and the familiar melody of taps streamed from his horn. As the crowd stood in silence remembering the terrorist attacks that happened 11 years ago that day, four planes flew overhead, one falling back as a symbol of the lives lost Sept. 11, 2011.

The ceremony was organized by the Knights of Columbus.
