This Saturday, Sept. 15, volunteers from all over the world will work in their local areas for the International Costal Cleanup. The Friends of A1A are organizing this year’s cleanup from St. Johns County to Flagler County.
There are teams organized along the coast and are still looking for volunteer in Flagler Beach. The cleanup starts at 8 a.m.
Volunteers should report to the Beachside Bakery, 509 N. Oceanshore Blvd., Flagler Beach, to clean north of the pier; or, meet at the pier to clean south to the state park.
All supplies are provided. Visit the event website at www.oceanconservancy.org/cleanup. Volunteers can register online or show up at one of the gathering sites to receive an assignment and supplies.
