Flagler Volunteer Services and the Kiwanis Club of Flagler County are teaming up for the fourth-annual Flagler Fun Coast Bed Race Saturday, Oct. 6, at Veterans Park, in Flagler Beach. The parade is set to begin at 3 p.m. and the race at 4 p.m.

The group is currently seeking companies, nonprofit organizations, churches, civic organizations or just groups of friends to participate. Participants build, decorate and race their beds to help raise money for Flagler County children's programs.

There will be a Bed Race team meeting 6 p.m. Oct. 3, at Flagler Beach City Hall.
