The Gallery of Local Art, in Flagler Beach, opened a show Saturday, March 30, with art dedicated to "the King." One wall of the gallery featured artwork based on the songs of Elvis Presley.

To make the evening more of a collaborative effort, Kokomos stayed open late to serve dinner in a bistro-style outdoor setting for a performance by local Elvis impersonator Randy Filippi.

Bahama Mama’s, This and That Treasures, Perfect Party and Sonia’s Alterations also took part in the evening's festivities.

“We try to collaborate on a regular basis,” said Marge Barnhill, owner of GOLA. “One of the reasons is we just want to be a fun, little gallery here by the ocean.”

GOLA will open a new show during Flagler Beach First Friday, 6-9 p.m. Friday, April 5.
