+ Flagler Spirits expands, sets record sales
Flagler Spirits has doubled the size of its liquor manufacturing warehouse. The Flagler County-based liquor manufacturer purchased the warehouse unit next to its current space on Hargrove Lane in Palm Coast. The new unit is a mirror image of the original one. The new combined space totals just under 2,000 square feet.
“This expansion was essential to the growth of our business,” said Jimmy Day, vice president of Flagler Spirits. “We just hit a record for the company, shipping out 2,500 gallons of liquor in one week.”
The expansion will allow the growing company to house two times the fermentation tanks. Eventually, the business hopes to grow from one blending tank to three, as well as to add another scale.
Flagler Spirits is currently producing approximately 1,000 gallons of liquor per week. The company had already hit 70% of 2012’s production at the end of February.
