Mr. Rogers would be appalled

11: 41 a.m. — 200 Block of Bayridge Court. Civil complaint. An Ormond Beach man and his neighbor have gotten into several landscaping disputes the past five years, the man told police.

The neighbor had yelled at the man for watering plants that aren't in his yard, as well as complained about the man having a TV on his deck.

The man had tried to make peace with his neighbor, he told police, but the neighbor appeared to be intoxicated during some of the altercations.

The officer instructed the man to speak with the president of the homeowners association in regards to policies about watering his lawn and the TV on his deck.

Operation: Cracker Barrel fraud

8:45 p.m. — 100 Block of Interchange Boulevard. Fraud. A woman entered the Cracker Barrel restaurant and purchased two items, totaling $7.97, with a $100 American Express Traveler’s Check. She left the restaurant with the items and $92.03.
