Water-booster-system manufacturer Delta P. Carver announced Tuesday that it has moved to a larger facility within Ormond Beach.

The new location, 14 Sunshine Blvd., in the Ormond Beach Airport Business Park, gives the company an additional 8,000 square feet — making a total of 21,000 total square feet.

“We were just really, really lucky in our situation,” said company Chief Operating Officer Mark Post. “We’ve been looking for a year and things had been getting sold from out from under us.”

A facility became available after Apria Healthcare relocated. That space, Post said, was just a few blocks from the previous Delta P. Carver location, which allowed an easy transition of personnel and equipment.

Joe Mannarino, the city’s economic director, worked with Post and Delta P. Carver to retain the company. Mannarino said the city was able to provide performance-based incentives to keep the company local.

The move is all part of planned expansion, Post said, which includes adding an additional 25 workers over the next three years.
