Be cool: Rob air conditioner parts; and, one peeved poodle, still at large.

April 4

Under one conditioner

12:39 p.m. — 500 Block of Granada Boulevard. Theft. While inspecting an air conditioning unit, it was discovered that it had been stripped of several parts.

The one-ton unit, which last worked March 29, according to reports, was missing its fan, condenser coil, copper line set, compressor and spare copper.

The only surveillance cameras in the area were at neighboring business, but weren't hooked up.

April 5

America’s Most Wanted: Poodle edition

6:58 p.m. — 100 Block of Tomoka Meadow Boulevard. Animal bite. The victim was walking in the Tomoka Meadows subdivision when she came across a white poodle, she told police.

While she was petting the dog, it bit her and left a puncture on her finger before running off. The victim has seen the dog in the area prior to the incident, but doesn’t know who it belongs to.
