Sex, lies and a photograph

10:21 p.m. — First Block of Autumnwood Trail. Suspicious person. Two Ormond Beach teenagers were at man’s house, they said, in an effort to retrieve some items they left there earlier.

The police officer found the teens while on a directed patrol near the man’s home, which police had received complaints about it being a distribution point for alcohol supplied to minors.

While searching one of the teens, an officer found a naked picture of the man’s wife. The teen found the picture in the driveway, he initially told police, but later admitted to taking it out of the man’s wallet the day before. There was no money in the wallet, so the teen said he took the picture and threw the wallet in the woods behind the man’s house.

The teens kept the photo, according to the report, as a “bargaining chip” to get a reward for finding the wallet.

The princess and the towed

7:10 p.m. — 100 Block of Granada Boulevard. Reckless driver. When the police officer made contact with the woman, she was standing outside her vehicle, which was “stuck on a large curb and could not be driven from the scene,” according to the report.

The woman admitted to having “a few drinks” before driving. An officer told her she needed to call a tow truck for her car and someone to pick her up. The woman was uncooperative, police reported, but called her mother to pick her up. An officer called a tow truck for the vehicle.

While the tow truck was loading the vehicle, the officer reported finding the woman unresponsive, laying on the ground. Rescue was called, but the woman refused medical attention at the scene. Her mother, according to the report, took her to the hospital.
