FHSAA announces district changes for basketball, volleyball

The Florida High School Athletic Association announced on Friday the final district assignments for boys basketball, girls basketball and volleyball for the 2013-2014 and 2014-2015 classification cycle.

Boys basketball
Matanzas will move into District 5-6A, a six-team district including Deltona, Mainland, New Smyrna Beach, Pine Ridge and Seabreeze.

Flagler Palm Coast will remain in District 1-8A, which now includes First Coast (Jacksonville), Mandarin, Sandalwood and West Port (Ocala).

Girls basketball
Matanzas will move into District 5-6A, a six-team district including Deltona, Mainland, New Smyrna Beach, Pine Ridge and Seabreeze.
