Rooms: yes; mates: nuh uh
2:08 a.m. – South Washington Street. Disturbance. Two female roommates got into a kerfuffle over who would take what bedroom in a house, and it caused so much commotion the police were called by neighbors.
When the officer arrived, both women had all their possessions in one bedroom and were screaming profanity at each other. Both claimed occupancy of the room.
A third roommate, the boyfriend of one of the women, arrived later and joined in the argument, supporting his girlfriend. All three accused each other of theft, assault and battery then demanded police take someone to jail.
One of the women volunteered to leave and the officer gave her a ride to a Holly Hill motel. No law enforcement action was taken.

'Here, take my friend’s truck in trade'
7: 14 p.m. – Putnam Avenue. Suspicious Incident. A man and his girlfriend let another man use a truck in exchange for drugs; however, they did not ask the truck's owner if lending the vehicle out was OK.
When the friend got upset about his truck being borrowed, the three left for Daytona Beach in search of the truck. While there, the woman “flipped out” according to the boyfriend, and demanded to be let out of the van.
The two men later returned to their residence on Putnam Avenue where police were waiting. They had been called by a neighbor who had heard screaming just before they left in the van. The boyfriend told the officers that he thinks the girlfriend just told them the truck was in that area because she wanted to buy more drugs.
The officer put out a bulletin to be on the lookout for the truck.

Read those meeting notices carefully
2:24 p.m. – 100 Block of East Granada Boulevard. After being told he was too late to attend a business presentation, a man starting “freaking out” because employees would not let him in. He was asked to reschedule, but he passed on that option and instead started screaming, despite there being children in a nearby playroom.
Two employees attempted to escort the man from the building but the suspect pushed back through the door and went around them. While the employees were attempting to block the suspect from getting back to the presentation room, police arrived.
The suspect told police the paper he received said he could arrive between 2 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. When the officer read the paper, he noted that it said the presentation was at 2 p.m. and that guests should arrive 15 minutes early.
The suspect said he was going to sue the company because the employees pushed him. He was trespassed from the property.
