One-by-one members of the Flagler Palm Coast High School class of 2017 walked in front of the stage, signed a commitment banner and proceeded to shake hands with Principal Lynnette Shott, Assistant Principal Dusty Sims and School Board Member John Fischer as they received a certificate saying they are committed to graduate with their class.

The mock graduation was part of the school's third-annual Freshman Success Day. The entire day was devoted to inspirational and informational sessions for the newest Bulldogs to make sure they have a positive start to their high school careers. The day also included a presentation on athletic expectations and the school’s no-tolerance stance on bullying, as well as tours of the school and classroom presentations by members of the Student Government Association.
