With the click of a switch, the tree at Central Park at Town Center lit up Sunday night. And with 38 more clicks, the entire loop lit up around the lake, with light displays for the Rotary Club's eighth-annual Fantasy Lights.

The tree, which is positioned near the front entrance of the park, was decorated this year with sparkling lights and ornaments made by Girl Scouts from five local troops. It, along with the Fantasy Lights display, is up through Dec. 30. The lights are open 6:30-9:30 p.m. daily.

This year, Fantasy Lights will feature a North Pole Village, Santa’s Merry Train Ride around the park (for a fee), snow in the park, a night of caroling and Santa Sundays with Mrs. Claus (Dec. 8, 15 and 22).
