The Judicial Nominating Commission recently released the names of six nominees for the next Seventh Circuit Court Judge.

The Judicial Nominating Commission for the Seventh Judicial Circuit announced the nominees for Circuit Court Judge Dec. 3. Candidate's names were submitted to Governor Rick Scott for his consideration. They are as follows:
Two of the candidates, Dawn D. Nichols and Michael S. Orfinger, are from Ormond Beach.
The Seventh Judicial Circuit covers Flagler, Putnam, St. Johns and Volusia counties. According to it's website, the circuit's mission is "to provide an effective forum for the fair, efficient and impartial resolution of legal and factual court-related matters." The circuit is one of 20 in the State Courts System.
