The state fire marshal has asked to talk to all occupants at the time of the fire.

The fire that occurred Dec. 13 at 1 Thomas St. is still under investigation by the fire marshal, according to Loretta Moisio, spokeswoman for the Ormond Beach Fire Department.
“It may take a little while,” she said in an email.
The fire broke out about 10:15 a.m. and the house, which did not have electric or water service, is considered a total loss, according to a fire department press release.
There were about a half dozen people in the house at the time, and the Fire Marshal asked to interview all of them as part of his investigation into the cause of the blaze.
