Ormond Beach runners finish at top of Palm Coast race, and boys basketball prepares for regional playoffs.

Pavement pounders: Ormond runners invade Palm Coast race
Katie Hoover, 31, was the female winner of the Race of the Runways 5K Feb. 9, at the Flagler County Airport. She finished with an average of 6 minutes, 8 seconds per mile. Joe Halpin, 30, won his age division with an average of 6 minutes, 56 seconds per mile.
Come out and 'playoff': Calvary rides to Leesburg
The Calvary Christian boys basketball team travels to First Academy-Leesburg Thursday, Feb. 14, for the first round of the Class 2A regional playoffs.
Calvary lost to Geneva (Winter Park) in the Class 2A, District 3 championship, but could face them in the second round if Calvary wins and Geneva beats Class 2A, District 4 runner-up St. John Lutheran.
Wave runners: Lopez hosts P. K. Yonge
The Father Lopez boys basketball team hosts Class 3A, District 3 runner-up P. K. Yonge Feb. 14, at home, in the first round of the regional playoffs.
