The Flagler County Education Foundation’s 10th-annual Mardi Gras and Casino Night was a night of fun, games, food and fundraising.

Held at the Hammock Dunes Club, 158 guests attended the New Orleans-spirited event, which raised $14,500.

Proceeds from the event will benefit Flagler County School students through the S.T.U.F.F. Bus, Dell Trayer Teacher Grants and Take Stock for Children scholarships.

“Everybody in the room has supported the foundation through attending the event, but also in other ways by donations to program, being mentors and being educators,” said Deborah Williams, executive director of the foundation. “The people who attend this event are generous, and everyone agrees that education is a good investment.”

Major sponsors of the event were Publix Super Markets Charities, Florida Power & Light, Palm Coast Ford, Palm Coast and Town Center Imaging Centers and the Palm Coast Observer.
