Love at first hug; Nemecs celebrate 19 years

Matthew and Sunday Nemec celebrated their 19th wedding anniversary Feb. 12 with a romantic dinner at their favorite restaurant.
The couple moved to Palm Coast in 2002, Matthew teaches sixth grade at Belle Terre Elementary School and Sunday manages Anytime Fitness. They have three children, Megan, Lorenzo and Masun.
“I can remember perfectly the night I fell in love with Sunday,” Matthew said. “Sunday gave me a hug at my birthday party and at that very moment I knew that this was the girl I was going to marry. I didn’t want to let her go. I never will.”

Cino makes Dean’s List
Cullen Cino, Flagler Palm Coast High School graduate, made the Fall 2012 Dean’s List at the University of North Florida. This distinction is for students with grade point average 3.5 or higher.

Lindsay and Louis Achins, of Bunnell, welcomed a seven-pound, two-ounce baby girl 1:56 p.m. Jan. 31.
Takara and Antonio Hale, of Flagler County, welcomed a seven-pound baby girl 7:41 a.m. Feb. 4.
Mar’Keshia Sims and Kenneth Dell, of Palm Coast, welcomed a five-pound, three-ounce baby boy 4:08 p.m. Feb. 6
