At a very young age, my family taught me about patriotism, love of country and helping those who are less fortunate. I learned several things from them:
Life is an adventure; don’t waste it. Always lead by example.
To make a difference, you must be involved in a positive way.
Stay away from people who are negative or self-serving.
I passed along to my children all that I’ve learned from my family, who taught me so many years ago.
