While I was at a softball pitching clinic, my mentor’s name was Brittany Mack. She is a well-known softball pitcher. I was at the mound practicing a new wind-up and I kept throwing high, and a lot of the other mentors were yelling random things about what I needed to do, but honestly, they were only distracting me. Brittany then said, “Do what you think is right, and not what others think.”
