The Best Advice I Ever Got: Kayla Suter

My brother and sister are the best things that have ever happened to me. My little sister is from my dad’s side, my little brother is from my mother’s side. Even though siblings can get very annoying, I still love them both the same. The advice that keeps me sane and nice is something my mom told me,

“No matter how much attention they get, you are still just as important. But, the easiest thing to do right now is make your life and their lives fun.”

Ever since my mom told me that, all I’ve wanted to do was make my siblings lives fun. Even though what my mom told me was advice for one thing, it helps me with something else. I have a passion for baking and cooking. I enter competition and always try my hardest. I used to get very upset over losing or getting into second or third place. Then when my mom gave me the advice, I thought,

“I am important and I do have fun and that’s all that matters.”
