The defendant allegedly returned a Tylenol box after replacing the pills with unknown medications.

Walgreens, at 790 W. Granada Blvd., reported to the Ormond Beach Police Department Jan. 3, that a man had tampered with over-the-counter medicine.
The defendant, a Bunnell man, reportedly returned a Tylenol box after purchasing it Dec. 26. The box had been opened and resealed, and the bottle inside had been replaced with an unmarked white bottle. containing unknown pills, resembling Tylenol and Motrin.
The defendant received $9.49, on a gift card, for his return. And appearing unopened, the box was placed back on the shelf.
An unknown customer then purchased the box and later returned it, reporting the incident to staff.
The bottle was collected and submitted to the police department for evidence and testing.
The police were able obtain the suspect's identification because the store requires customers returning items for store credit to provide proof of identification. The suspect also has a history of tampering with medications at Palm Coast drugstores.
