Annie Gaybis will perform a pre-Valentine Day special event, “Love Letters” by A.R. Gurney at the Daytona Playhouse.

“Love Letters” is a Pulitzer Prize for Drama nominated play. It is comprised of letters exchanged over a lifetime between two people who grew up together, went their separate ways, but continued to share confidences. As the actors read the letters aloud, what is created is an evocative, touching, frequently funny but always a telling character study.

The show, directed by Robert Weaver runs 7:30 p.m. Jan. 18 and Jan. 19, and 2 p.m. Jan. 20.

Tickets are a flat $25 as the show is a benefit for the theatre with 100% of the proceeds going to the theatre. The fund raiser is aimed at trying to replenish the theaters savings, which was recently spent to replace the roof unexpectedly.
