A two-car accident shutdown Interstate 95's southbound lanes Wednesday.

A vehicle driven by Charles Hroch, 48, of Monroe, NJ, was traveling southbound near mile marker 273, the U.S. 1 exit for Ormond Beach, when he lost control of his vehicle for an unknown reason, failed to maintain a single lane and then crashed into the guardrail on the west side of I-95, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

After crashing into the guardrail, Hroch's vehicle then drifted back into traffic and collided with a vehicle driven by Gabrielle Henrey, 19, of Palm Coast. Henrey then he crashed into the concrete barrier wall.

Hroch was ticketed for failure to maintain a single lane and was transported to Halifax Hospital.
