Um... what?
8:23 a.m. — 1500 Block of Granada Boulevard. Trespassing. An Ormond Beach police officer responded in reference to a trespasser, who had entered the store and told the manager he was working for a wine company that told him to report there for work. But when the manager called the company, she was told the man was fired last month.
The manager also said customers had witnessed the man in the ladies underwear section, where it appeared he was “licking the undergarments,” according to reports. The man was also seen in the employee break room, in the back of the store.
The officer found the man at the bus stop in front of the store, where he admitted he was in the underwear aisle but denied licking the garments.
The man was trespassed and told he couldn’t return to the store. He agreed and left the scene without incident.

Who's got the gas?
10:20 a.m. — 1400 Block of Granada Boulevard. Burglary conveyance. An Ormond Beach police officer responded in reference to a burglary. The victim told the officer someone had stolen fuel out of her company’s bus. The employee said there was about 10 gallons of fuel in the bus when it was parked in the lot.
After inspecting the vehicle, the officer reported that there were two puncture holes in the front and rear of the fuel tank, underneath the bus, which appeared to have been made by a screwdriver.
The employee said the only thing found in the area was a red and black shirt, a black ball cap and a water hose. She told the officer she wasn’t sure if the items had anything to do with the stolen fuel, and that they didn’t smell like gasoline.
Security footage from a different business showed a dark colored vehicle drive into the parking lot, with its lights turned off, and pull into where the incident occurred. The footage was collected for evidence.
