Esposito and Fillyaw marry
Charles A. Esposito, son of Charles and Dorthy Esposito, of Palm Coast, married Bonnie L. Fillyaw, daughter of Edgar Shook and the late Patricia “Bonnie” Shook, of Macclenny, on New Year’s Eve.
Dorthy is a senior regional buyer for BAE Systems, U.S. Combat Systems, and Charles is the sole practitioner for the Law office of Charles A Esposito Esq.
This union joins the families of the Kayla, Marissa, and Jacob Fillyaw, children of the bride, and Carly and Elena Esposito, children of the groom.
The service was conducted by Rev. Ted St. Pierre, at the couple’s Palm Coast home. The reception immediately following the ceremony, which was attended by close family and friends, rang in a happy New Year for 2013.
Price receives nurse cap and pin
First Coast Technical College recognized nineteen nursing students during a recent capping and pinning ceremony held in FCTC’s Conference Center in St. Augustine. This symbolic event signifies program completion and enables graduates to sit for state board of nursing exams to obtain Licensed Practical Nursing status.
Flagler County’s Michelle Price was among the graduates who received a white cap with a blue stripe representing FCTC’s school colors and name pins symbolizing a commitment and dedication to the health profession.
Baylor named to university honor roll
Sterling Carol Baylor, of Bunnell, has been named to the McNeese State University Honor Roll for the 2012 fall semester. The honor roll lists undergraduate students earning at least a 3.0 or B average while carrying 12 or more semester hours.
Carr makes Brewton-Parker Dean’s List
Christopher Jordan Carr, of Palm Coast, qualified for the Dean’s List at Brewton-Parker College of Mount Vernon, Ga., for the fall 2012 semester.
Qualifying students were enrolled in 12 or more hours and earned a grade point average of 3.6 or better.
