The Florida High School Athletic Association is expected to release its finalized football districts and classifications on Friday.
The FHSAA realigns every two years, and it released tentative changes back in December.
Flagler Palm Coast will be in District 1-8A, a seven-team district comprising DeLand, First Coast (Jacksonville), FPC, Mandarin, Sandalwood, Spruce Creek and West Port (Ocala).
Matanzas will be in District 4-6A, a five-team district comprising Bartram Trail, Creekside, Nease, Matnazas and St. Augustine.
Schools had about a month to appeal the proposed changes.
A full breakdown of the proposed districts and classifications can be found here.
