A Palm Coast man who attempted to rob a gas station on Palm Coast Parkway in December was arrested by Flagler County detectives this morning at his home.
William Cory Hall, 35, of 32 Woodbury Drive, was arrested following a traffic stop on Redmill Lane, shortly after detectives observed him driving away from his home. Detective Roger Spires initiated the stop.
Hall was wanted in connection with a Dec. 20 robbery where he entered the Mobil Station at 220 Palm Coast Parkway around 5:13 a.m. and demanded money from the clerk. He entered the store with his shirt covering his lower face and his right hand under his shirt, according to the clerk. He then demanded money and implied he had a gun. At one point, the man threatened the woman by saying, “Don’t make me use it.” The clerk refused to hand over any money and the would-be robber left the store emptyhanded. His arrest this morning culminated the investigation which began in December.
“This was outstanding investigative work by everyone involved,” said Investigative Services Commander Jack Bisland.
Hall is being booked into the Flagler County Detention Facility this morning.
