The fourth-annual Flagler County Honor Band concert will take the stage, 7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, at the Matanzas High School Pirate Theater, at Matanzas High School. The concert will feature two concert bands comprised of some of the finest young musicians that Flagler County has to offer. It is free and open to the public.
The top musicians from Buddy Taylor and Indian Trails Middle Schools were selected by their directors to form one large All-County Middle School Band; and the top musicians from Flagler Palm Coast and Matanzas High Schools were selected by their directors to form a large All-County High School Band. Not only are students selected for this event, but the local band directors collaborate in the selection of a guest conductor.

Flagler Home Show — 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, and Sunday, Jan. 27, at Flagler Palm Coast High School, 5500 E. State Road 100. Showcasing local businesses. Service fair, health fair and arts and crafts. Free event. Professional and local entertainment.
Art in the Pines Exhibit — 5-9 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, at the Grand Club, 400 Pine Lakes Parkway. Drink specials and complimentary appetizers.
“A Lady Alone” Performance — 2. p.m. Sunday, Jan. 27at Christmas Come True Headquarters, N. 14th St., Flagler Beach. About Dr. Elizabeth Blackwell, the first American woman doctor. History of modern medicine in one hour. Performed by Linda Gray Kelley. Limited seating. Tickets $12. Call 774-230-1763.
