Dinner and a death threat
4:53 p.m. — 100 Block or Tropical Falls Drive. Threatening phone call. An Asian-sounding man called the victim and acted like he was selling something, so the victim hung up the phone on him, according to reports.
The suspect then called right back and told the victim that he would be at the victim’s house with his friends, to which the victim responded that he also had friends — oh, and another thing, that he was about to call the cops. When the caller rang for the third time, he told the victim that he planned to shoot him in the mouth — but first, he would force the victim to make him a nice meal of chicken and rice.
The victim hung up and called the cops, and was advised not to take any more calls from that number.

Xanax emergency: Please refill
3:24 p.m. — First Block of Lakeview Circle. Petit theft. A man came to the Ormond Beach Police Department to report that his prescription medication was stolen Saturday evening, after he let a black male, who was an acquaintance, into his home.
The victim said he let the suspect use his bathroom, where he kept Xanax in the medicine cabinet. Later that night, the man realized his pill bottle, which contained 120 capsules and cost $20, was gone, according to reports.
The victim requested a report be generated so his doctor can refill his prescription.

'Pier' pressure
2:17 a.m. — First Block of South Beach Street. Suspicious person. A officer was conducting an extra patrol at Cassen Park when he heard voices yelling on the pier after hours. When he checked it out, he found two young males, ages 18 and 20, drinking Corona on a bench. The young men stated that they were not consuming alcohol, but the officer didn't believe them.
Both were taken into custody for underage drinking.
