With 13 city parks, more than 125 miles of trails and paths, the city of Palm Coast is kicking off National Park and Recreation Month with a bang.
To give everyone an opportunity to experience parks and recreation opportunities, most events are free or discounted, and all are designed to encourage families to spend quality time together utilizing parks amenities and facilities.
July events are as follows:
Independence Day Celebration – Thursday, July 4, 8 a.m., “By the Dawns Early Light,” at Heroes Memorial Park, 2860 Palm Coast Parkway.
Pack the Pool Patriotic Day – 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, July 4, at Palm Coast’s Frieda Zamba Swimming Pool, 339 Parkview Drive.
Fireworks for Independence Day – 9 p.m. Friday, July 5, at Central Park in Town Center.
Ice Cream Social – 6 p.m. Thursday, July 11, 6 p.m., at Ralph Carter Park, 1385 Rymfire Drive.
Movies in Central Park – dusk Friday, July 12, at Central Park in Town Center.
Palm Coast Tennis Center Community Day – 9 a.m. top 1 p.m. Saturday, July 13, at the Palm Coast Tennis Center, 1290 Belle Terre Parkway.
Food Truck Tuesdays – 5-8:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 16, at Central Park in Town Center.
Waterfront Park QR Code Project Launch – 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, July 20, at 150 N. Waterfront Park Road.
Tour de Palm Coast – 9-10 a.m. Saturday, July 20, at Waterfront Park parking lot, 150 N. Waterfront Park Road.
Dive-In Movie – 7:45 p.m. Friday, July 26, at Palm Coast’s Frieda Zamba Swimming Pool, 339 Parkview Drive.
Parks & Recreation Month Pack the Pool Day – 10:30 a.m. yto 7:30 p.m. Thursday, July 27, at Palm Coast’s Frieda Zamba Swimming Pool, 339 Parkview Drive.
Adult Tennis Clinics – Starting in early July, the Palm Coast Tennis Center, 1290 Belle Terre Parkway.
Discounted Golf – During the month of July, daily after 4 p.m., at Palm Harbor Golf Club, 20 Palm Harbor Drive.
