You do have a driver's licence, actually
11: 00 p.m. Cypress Point Parkway. Traffic Stop.
A deputy stopped a man driving a tan Buick sedan for making an illegal turn leaving Walmart at a posted “No Right Turn” intersection. The man produced a Mexican driver’s licence. The driver told the deputy he did not have an American driver’s licence. However, the the deputy checked the DHSMV DAVID system and found the man had a Florida driver’s licence that was suspended three different times for failure to pay traffic penalties. After his arrest, it was discovered the man had an active warrant for his arrest due to him not appearing for court on other traffic violations.

Wrong way on the parkway
1:29 a.m. Royal Palms Parkway. DUI.
An officer observed a vehicle traveling southbound in the northbound lanes. The white four-door Toyota was jerking erratically with speeds ranging from 40 mph to 60 mph. The woman driving had a strong odor of alcohol. She was given a field sobriety test and failed.

Stolen gold coins
11:39 a.m. 100 Block of Wellstone Drive. Larceny.
A woman reported that during the time Hospice and Arcadia health services were tending to her late husband, her “Presidential Dollar Roll Series” gold coins went missing. The total of the coins are approximately $160. She believes one of the employees of the two companies stole the coins.

It's fake, and it's missing
4:12 p.m. 100 block of Ryberry Drive. MV- Larceny.
A man went to his car to find that the $200 he had in his vehicle was missing. As he began to look for the money, he noticed a large black purse and a fake Gucci purse, each valued at $50, and a bottle of cologne, valued at $65, were also missing. The man stated the vehicle is left unlocked because the door handle is broken.

Love is a battlefield
3:05 a.m. First block of Bassett Lane. Trespassing.
A woman reported a man with a bicycle was outside her house who had attempted entry. The man was found behind the air-conditioning unit. The man explain that his girlfriend and her mother live in the house, and he had come over to speak with his girlfriend, who had broken up with him via text message. He told deputies he was "fighting for love."
