Nina Eustaquio, a recent graduate of Matanzas High School, will present her senior recital 2:30 p.m. Sunday, June 9, at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 156 Florida Park Drive.
Her program will include music from the masters as well as original compositions and a duet with the Rev. Alberto Esposito, pastor of Santa Maria del Mar Catholic Church, on violin. Eustaquio has studied with master piano teacher Stella Pola for the past 13 years. For over two years, Nina has been an accompanist for the contemporary worship service at Trinity Presbyterian Church and also serves as accompanist for the Life Teen Mass each Sunday at Santa Maria del Mar Catholic Church.
Eustaquio will pursue a major in piano performance at the University of North Florida. Her career goal is to become a film composer or a music supervisor in the movie industry.
A free-will offering will be taken at the concert. The audience will have an opportunity to meet and congratulate the artist at a reception following the performance.
National Cancer Survivor Day
The “Walk On” Cancer Support Group and Radiology Associates Imagine Centers in teaming together to present National Cancer Survivors Day 2013 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 8, at Town Center Medical, 21 Hospital Drive.

Marineland Military Support Retreat
A community forum will be hosted 5-7 p.m. Sunday, June 9, at the Whitney Laboratory in Marineland, at 9505 Oceanshore Blvd. This free event is for service members, veterans and their families, as a way to network, discuss needs of veterans and present long-term plans for retreats and a health and wellness restoration center for veterans at Marineland.
