Roar! Jaguars caravan: June 17
For the second year in a row, the Jacksonville Jaguars will pay a special visit to Flagler County on Monday, June 17, as part of the 2013 Jaguars Caravan.

Players, ROAR cheerleaders and other guests traveling on the Jaguars Caravan will be in town to interact with fans and build momentum for the 2013 season.

The family-friendly event will include autographs, giveaways, photo opportunities and prizes. The event is free and open to the public.

The event will be 6-8 p.m. Monday, June 17, at Flagler Palm Coast High School’s gym, 5500 E. State Road 100, in Palm Coast.

Scheduled players to attend the event are defensive end Tyson Alualu, kicker Josh Scobee and punter Bryan Anger. The team’s mascot, Jaxson de Ville, as well as former Jaguar Tony Boselli are also scheduled to be in attendance.

In total, the Jaguars Caravan will travel to nine cities, totaling more than 1,500 miles and connecting with approximately 5,000 fans, according to a press release.

American Legion baseball coming to Flagler
The Flagler American Legion Post No. 115 (Palm Coast) is now forming. Baseball players ages 13-18 will be able to compete in local, state and national competitions with summer schedules as well as fall ball leagues.
