Two of the NFL’s best kickers will be in Flagler County tonight.

The Jaguars Caravan, a promotional event designed to expand the Jacksonville Jaguars’ fan base and rev up its fans, will be at Flagler Palm Coast High School 6-8 p.m. on Monday (5500 E. State Road 100, in Palm Coast).

Scheduled to appear at tonight’s event are kicker Josh Scobee, punter Bryan Anger, defensive end Tyson Alualu and former Jaguar Tony Boselli. Jaguars cheerleaders, known as the ROAR, will also be at tonight's event.

Also scheduled to be at tonight’s event is first-year coach Gus Bradley. Team officials have said this is the first and only Jaguars Caravan event Bradley will attend, and that’s good news for Flagler County.

“People will walk away with how great of a public speaker he is and how much fun he is to be around,” Scobee said of Bradley.

Bradley is the third coach in three years for an organization that’s trying to find its identity. Winning starts with the front office and the coaching staff; then, it’s up to the talent on the field to execute, and Bradley is doing his best to get his players to buy in, Scobee said.

“The people coming out Monday night will get to see the excitement that Gus brings,” Scobee said, adding that this will also be his first event. “He’s like that every single day with us. He’s very genuine, and his positive vibe that he has is just infectious. People want to be around him.”

Because a lot of kids who were about 7 years old when the franchise began are now in college, the organization is now beginning to see generational fans, Scobee said.

But what Scobee is most excited about is the new mentality Bradley and the new coaching staff brought to the offseason workouts.

“It starts from the top with Gus, with what he brings,” Scobee said. “You can see that at practice with how guys are flying around. The mentality is to do things fast and compete every single day.”

That breeds good competition, which is a good thing, he said.

And while hearing from Bradley and getting autographs is definitely worthy of showing up to the event, Scobee says there’s other good reason to come out to the Jaguars Caravan Monday night: “Fans can meet two of the best kickers in the NFL,” he said.
