UPDATED at 4:55 p.m. THURSDAY
The control burn scheduled for tomorrow near Princess Place has been canceled due to weather conditions.

ORIGINAL STORY
A control burn is planned for Friday on 4.5 acres near Princess Place Preserve on property owned by the St. Johns Water Management District.

Weather conditions will determine if the burn takes place.

Flagler County Fire Rescue and Palm Coast Fire Department will have crews and equipment at the site to assist.

Smoke from the prescribed burn will likely be visible to residents in the northern part of the county on Friday.
