Students at St. Mark By The Sea Christian Day School were surprised Thursday morning when the famous character from Dr. Seuss’ “The Cat in The Hat” came to life at their school.

The mischievous feline stopped by for some fun and to read his namesake book.

The visit was part of a week-long tribute to author Theodor Seuss Geisel, with a different book highlighted each day.
