It's all fun and games until someone drives their golf cart into a tree; and, see no robbery, hear no robbery.

I'll turn this cart around ...
3:10 p.m. — 700 Block of Airport Road. Trespassers. The pro shop manager told police three golfers were being disorderly and damaged a golf cart.
The driver, an Ormond Beach man, told police he was driving the golf cart and horse playing, lost control of the cart and drove it into a tree, which damaged the cart's steering, according to the report. The golf cart sustained approximately $500 in damage. There were no reported injuries.
The pro shop manager had the three golfers trespassed.

Take it from me, police just don't understand
8:47 p.m. — 600 Block of Nova Road. Suspicious incident. A man called dispatch to report he was robbed at a store on Nova Road, and said he was chasing the suspect’s car west on Hand Avenue. However, according to the report, the caller hung up before giving any additional information and didn’t answer his phone.
An Ormond Beach police officer responded to the store, and when he arrived, he saw several cars in the lot, but no one approached him about the robbery.
The officer wrote in the report that he spoke with the store’s clerk, who didn’t know anything about the incident, didn’t see any commotion and said no one mentioned a robbery to him.
An officer was finally able to make contact with the man, who, according to the report, told him not to call anymore then hung up.
