89.3 FM celebrates one year being on air

WNSS-FM, 89.3 FM, a Christian radio station serving Flagler, St. Johns, Putnam and Volusia counties will celebrate its one-year anniversary 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, March 7, at first Baptist Church of Palm Coast, 6050 Palm Coast Parkway N.W.

Founders Jeff and Nancy Southmayd encourage listeners and community members to join in the celebration.
 

+ Christian women to gather
The Palm Coast Christian Women’s Connection will host its March luncheon 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 13, at Hammock Plantation Golf Club, 3400 Club House Drive, in Ormond Beach.

Julie Mariner, of South Ponte Vedra Beach, will be the guests speaker. For reservations, call 445-6703. Bring a nonperishable item.
 

+ First Church prepares for White Elephant Sale
The Gwendolyn Howard White Elephant Sale, a Women’s Day event at the First Church of Palm Coast, will be 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 9.

It is a memorial tribute to Howard, who started the commodity exchange with other fundraisers for support of the church. Clothing, bric-a-brac, home decor, and other merchandise will be for sale. There will be refreshments. Tables will be available for rent for $15. Call 446-5759.
